TheAquamanalum surprised fans on Sunday by announcing that she is officially outnumbered by her children — Heard was already mother to 4-year-old Oonagh and has now welcomed a set of twins. "Mother's Day 2025 will be one I'll never forget," Heard began a heartfelt Instagram post. "This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang." She added, "My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full." Heard went on to reminisce about becoming a mother in 2021, when she welcomed her eldest daughter via surrogate and her world "changed forever." "I thought I couldn't possibly burst with more joy," she wrote. "Well, now I am bursting times three!!!" I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully." Heard concluded the post with a special Mother's Day tribute to mothers everywhere: "To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you." Back in 2021, Heard kept her daughter a secret for several months after her birth. "Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms," she captioned a July 2021 post. "I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib." David M. Six years later, the duo accused each other of domestic abuse in a high-profile court case. After a divisive six-week televised trial in mid-2022,a jury ruled in favor of Depp, determining that Heard intentionally and maliciously defamed thePirates of the Caribbeanstar when she wrote her 2018 op-ed in theWashington Postabout her experiences as a domestic abuse survivor. (She scored a small victory as the jury found partly in favor of her defamation countersuit.) Heard later filed an appeal, butwithdrew it in late 2022 and settled. After the legal battle ended, Heard moved overseas to live a quieter life in Madrid, Spain.
