It all happened on the May 23 episode of the popular game show, when contestantRachel Granierfrom Lafayette, La. made it all the way to the bonus round with $22,200 in cash winnings. She chose "phrase" for her bonus round category, and quickly got "your journey" as the first part of the sentence before landing on the last bit of the puzzle a few moments later. She initially guessed "your journey begins," but after realizing the last word ended with "ts," she recalibrated and exclaimed "awaits, your journey awaits," winning an additional $40,000. "The loss curse has finally come to an end. Redemption baby!" wrote another enthusiastic commenter as others agreed, rejoicing that after "19 shows of waiting" the "losing streak has finally ended," again writing in all caps to express their elation. "We can catch our breath now," wrote other fans as more said "the curse is finally over." "The bonus round losing streak curse is over. Way to go Rachel!" wrote a third fan.
