Grammy-winning artist D'Angelo left fans feeling disappointed when he had no choice but to cancel an upcoming appearance for medical reasons. "It is with the deepest of regrets that [I] must cancel my performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia next weekend," a message from the singer-songwriter read. "But, due to an unforeseen medical delay regarding surgery [I] had earlier this year, [I've] been advised by my team of specialist[s] that the performance this weekend could further complicate matters." "It is nearly impossible to express how disappointed [I am] not to be able to play with my Brothers 'The Roots.' And even more disappointed not to see all of You. [I'm] so thankful to my beautiful fans for continuing to rock with me and [I] Thank u for your continued support," he concluded. "I'm sorry guys,"Questlovetold fans when he reshared the news fromthe RootsPicnic, a music festival organized by the late-night personalityJimmy Fallon's hip-hop band. Many also took the opportunity to joke about an apparent error with the musician's keyboard while typing his message, as many of the "I"s were replaced with "@"s.
