Chin wore a strapless white bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline and lace detailing. She kept her hair bubblegum pink in the front and black in the back, wearing it down with a long veil. Her bridesmaids wore black floor-length gowns in a variety of styles. While they didn't announce their engagement until April on YouTube, the couple actually got engaged on a trip to Japan in December 2024. Hsieh shared the details of the proposal in an April YouTube video, noting that the engagement kicked off with a "scavenger hunt around the world," and Chin had to find "clues" in different countries. He said that they eventually made it to Japan, where they did a photoshoot withProposal Ninja Photography, at "five different locations" to "find the perfect spot" for the proposal.
